The 710s guide to production

From plant to concentrate.

Every concentrate goes through three steps: separate, finish, verify. The route you take decides what ends up in the jar.

Three jobs. One journey.

A finished concentrate is the result of several decisions. Each changes something different.

  1. 01Separate.Collect resin glands or extract soluble compounds from the plant.
  2. 02Finish.Shape the consistency, or separate the mixture further.
  3. 03Verify.Test a batch sample and document the results.

What changes at each stage?

Pick a route and walk it stage by stage, from plant material to a tested batch.

Solvents belong in a licensed lab.

Professional solvent extraction depends on engineered containment, appropriate facilities and trained people.

  • Containment.Closed equipment is designed to control solvent and vapor.
  • Facility controls.Ventilation, electrical safety and training belong to the process.
  • Verification.Material still needs the relevant batch tests. Equipment alone is not evidence of safety.

This is an explanation of professional production, not instructions for home solvent extraction.

Read a lab report.

A certificate of analysis describes a tested sample. Start with three checks.

  1. 01Match the batch.Check that the report and package carry the same batch ID. Find the laboratory name and test date.
  2. 02Read the composition.Cannabinoid results describe potency. Terpene results describe the aroma profile. Neither tells the whole story.
  3. 03Check the test panels.Review results for residual solvents, pesticides, metals and microbes against the applicable limits. Check which panels were actually tested.

Seven methods, side by side.

What each one starts with, what it makes and where it is done.
